Two Quivering Dark Black Pearls

What is the message hidden behind beautiful dark eyes

Two quivering dark black pearls
Invite me to drown myself
In their bottomless depth
I open my lips
To take a drink
Slender finger raised gently
Stops me on my track
Want to empty my heart
Merge in those deep blue eyes
With lowered eyelids
She moves away
A sideways glance
As if
Something to say
Everything is a haze
Try to shout
Words fail me
As she moves away
Glances over her shoulder
Those two dark pearls
Cast a gaze
I lose my heart
Will our paths cross again
Will I be able to fathom
Messages hidden in the depth of
Those beautiful dark eyes

Poetry is my passion. I am not a methodical writer. I have no set topics to write about. What I feel, perceive, think about, I will like to share in this blog. I open my mind to the world. Like the weather, sometimes my poems are cloudy, sometimes stormy. I always like to see sunshine streaming through the leaves of trees, so I hope I can share some of those sunshine with my readers.
