Third week of my fifty two weeks journey of writing a poem starting with letter W

Why do we succumb
To our impulses
Wrecking havoc in our
Orderly life
Whims aplenty
Reasons unknown
We want to prove
That we can
Whatever we set
To do
What it does
To other
We do not bother
Never stop to think
What we do
May destroy others
Why, oh why
Heart rules over our head

Poetry is my passion. I am not a methodical writer. I have no set topics to write about. What I feel, perceive, think about, I will like to share in this blog. I open my mind to the world. Like the weather, sometimes my poems are cloudy, sometimes stormy. I always like to see sunshine streaming through the leaves of trees, so I hope I can share some of those sunshine with my readers.

      1. Welcome.. Well I wish to know your impression for my blog, as per your last comment stated “my blog having a long repertoire”, (assuming that you have gone through all)… So, how do you think about the blog???

      2. Sorry for the late response. I was travelling and internet availability was intermittent. Took me a couple of days to recover after coming back ( as reflected in my few and far between postings last week) :).
You blog is beautiful and you have a flair for language. Your featured images are catching and go very well with the poems. Your words are simple and flowing.
I am no critique and I will not dare to pass judgement on the writings of a fellow blogger. I write because I love to write poetry. If my writing can bring a smile to my readers, that’s an added bonus, the icing on the cake. I feel that you enjoy writing also. Please keep it up.
