Vacation

Languid days
Langurous meals
Inviting siesta
Tired eyelids
Meaningless gossips
As the day
Slowly slips away
Towards a relaxed evening
How can one be tired
Without doing anything
Hurried pace of life
At a standstill
In a few days
It will be over
Resisting siesta
Should I bother
Give in to the temptation
Keep reservations away
Enjoy the remaining
Vacation days

Poetry is my passion. I am not a methodical writer. I have no set topics to write about. What I feel, perceive, think about, I will like to share in this blog. I open my mind to the world. Like the weather, sometimes my poems are cloudy, sometimes stormy. I always like to see sunshine streaming through the leaves of trees, so I hope I can share some of those sunshine with my readers.

  1. Love this: How can one be tired / Without doing anything. Haha, describes every vacation I’ve ever had. When I get back I need a vacation to recover from all that “relaxation.” Hope your time away was good.
