This poem is in response to the poet’s billow-April Poetry Month Day 2:
Write a poem in the persona of a person who is the first to do something.
I am Eve
The first woman to
Walk the earth
In the Garden of Eden
They say
I seduced Adam
The first man
How weak must
He had been
Since then
To hide their
Weakness
And their carnal
Desire
They invented the
First sin
These men
Who don’t have
Control over their
Own mind
Clothed me
Imprisoning
All that’s beautiful
All that’s heavenly
And undress me
Continuously
In their mind
To fulfill
Their guilty
Pleasures
And point their
Dirty fingers
At me
I am Eve
I am strong
To carry the burden
Of the world
These old dirty
Men
Are no match
For me
What a simple yet powerful one. Very symbolic reminds me of one I wrote in similar line but different context though. http://www.chaitalibhattacharjee7.com/but-i-will-yell-this/

Thanks for nominating me for the award. As I had earlier written in my post http://wp.me/p73yZZ-10V , I have a phobia and aprehension about accepting awards. Hope you understand.

Great perspective. It reminds me of a something from the Tao te Ching: To let knowledge produce troubles and then use knowledge to prepare against them, is like stirring water in hopes of making it clear. Lao Tzu

Thank you. Appreciate your comment.
I always believed that man, taking cover of religion, has created this whole mess and woman been a unwilling /unwitting partner in propagating the myth.
