Hidden Sun

As I read more
More I go deeper
More do I realize
How little I know
Sense of forlorn despair
Saddens mind heavily burdened
Why do I dispense
Advice freely that’s unwanted
When my knowledge is
Of little use to
My own desolate journey
Through a life unravelled
Neither here nor there
Aspirations unfulfilled,promises shattered
Episodes unresolved, stories unfinished
Road to nowhere travelled
Aimlessly searching for mirage
Joy of unshackled freedom
High of shallow exhilaration
Rendered hopeless by dejection
Agony of slow realization
Exquisite happiness of creation
Comes only after destruction

What good is it
To go through life
Wallowing deep in misery
Steeping in misery will
Just corrode the soul
Benefitting me nor others
Learn I may little
But learnt I some
May not help anybody
Offer help I can
World can be beautiful
Depends how I search
Once rain does come
Hidden sun behind clouds
Will come out strong
Creating beautiful joyous rainbows

Poetry is my passion. I am not a methodical writer. I have no set topics to write about. What I feel, perceive, think about, I will like to share in this blog. I open my mind to the world. Like the weather, sometimes my poems are cloudy, sometimes stormy. I always like to see sunshine streaming through the leaves of trees, so I hope I can share some of those sunshine with my readers.
