Wrong

WRONG!
What’s wrong is wrong
Whitewashing the wrong
Will not make it right
Why do we
Who seek the good of
World’s civil society
When in minority
Will keep silent
When our brothers and sisters
Willfully perpetrate the same atrocities
Where they are in majority
Why do we hide
Within covers of religion
Wrapped in the cloak of language and ethnicity, or
Walls of our nationality
When we condone
We stay silent
When the evils are done by our
Wayward brothers-in-arms
Well aware that our silence
Will be construed as tacit support
Why do we fail and then
Wonder if others commit the same
Wanton atrocities on us

Wrong is wrong
Killing is wrong
Religion does not
Make it right
Discrimination is wrong
False sense of
Superiority of color of skin
Pride of false nationality
Brotherhood of language and religion
Does not make it right
Forced conversion is wrong
Hiding behind the book
Does not make it right
Honor killing is wrong
There is no honor
In killing
Family honor
Does not make it right

Wrong is wrong
We the ones
Who like our rights
Well protected
When in minority, but
Will stay silent
When those rights are
Wantonly violated
When our own
Will perpetrate the same
We, by keeping silent
We are as guilty
We may shout our innocence
We may proclaim our inability, but
We, by remaining silent
We, not being proactive in making a
Wrong right
We, the silent majority, are equally
WRONG!
