World we live in
Only one that we know
Routinely we do think
Lonely are we in the universe
Do we have others like us anywhere
While we may believe
Out there may be others
Right at this moment
Looking at us from light years away
Do not have any hard evidence
Why then do we bother
Onus is on us humans
Really to make this world
Livable for all the species
Diversity be embraced, celebrate life
We are the caretakers
Of the only place we call home
Rulers never, though some may dream
Learning not to respect nature
Destruction beckons to us all
World belongs to every one
Our solemn duty is to preserve and nurture
Ruining this world by our activities, making
Living hell of our only home
Does that do any good to any one

Yesterday, for the first time in thirty four weeks, I was nearly on the verge of being delinquent. Things were going wrong one after another. By the time I sat down to write, I was so tired that I thought I won’t be able to do it. Looking forward to the weekend for spending some quality time sleeping😊
