Day after Thanksgiving, tranquility
All the preparation, a day busy
Giving way to a morning slow and lazy
Mind, full of memories of last night, fuzzy
Stomach still full with food, brain drowsy
Fridge,full of leftovers,groaning and noisy
Kids sleeping late, waking up tired, grumpy
Shoppers crowding malls, Black Friday, crazy
Even nature taking a break, morning is cloudy
Day after Thanksgiving, peaceful, not rowdy.

Poetry is my passion. I am not a methodical writer. I have no set topics to write about. What I feel, perceive, think about, I will like to share in this blog. I open my mind to the world. Like the weather, sometimes my poems are cloudy, sometimes stormy. I always like to see sunshine streaming through the leaves of trees, so I hope I can share some of those sunshine with my readers.

Describes the day after Thanksgiving perfectly–love the end words of the lines, all adjectives that end in “y.” A loose style of rhyming. Well done, Pranabaxom!
