I’m where I am
By choice or destiny
Where I could have been
Where I would have been
What does it matter
Now at this moment
Here I am
Wanted or not
I do not care
Will extend my hand
Open my heart
Left behind the
Garbage of the past
Carry the nectar
Of love in my heart
If you accept
As it is
Both of us gain
If not
You wallow in the
Filth of your hatred
I move forward
Spreading gospel of love
I’m happy where I am

Poetry is my passion. I am not a methodical writer. I have no set topics to write about. What I feel, perceive, think about, I will like to share in this blog. I open my mind to the world. Like the weather, sometimes my poems are cloudy, sometimes stormy. I always like to see sunshine streaming through the leaves of trees, so I hope I can share some of those sunshine with my readers.

“If you accept / As it is / Both of us gain.” Never a truer word spoken. Lovely. 🙂

Thank you so much Joan. I am disturbed by recent events and intolerance that is growing in the country and the guy at the top tweeting like Nero playing the fiddle while Rome burnt.
