Turned my face away
Ran as far as I could
Hid behind veils
I could not lift
Changed my identity
Shunned everyone
Tried to make a new life
Away from all I had
Left behind society
I could not fathom
But could not hide
From myself
Truth, It stared at me

Poetry is my passion. I am not a methodical writer. I have no set topics to write about. What I feel, perceive, think about, I will like to share in this blog. I open my mind to the world. Like the weather, sometimes my poems are cloudy, sometimes stormy. I always like to see sunshine streaming through the leaves of trees, so I hope I can share some of those sunshine with my readers.

Says much in 52 words, last line a great summation. Thinking of starting another poetry project, PB? 🙂

Thank you.
Another project? Nah! Enjoying the freedom. Gives me more time to enjoy the bounty of WordPress.

What a fab entry, kind of philosophical and deep. I really loved it.
