Smooth and Hand: Ronovan Writes Weekly Haiku Poetry Prompt Challenge #174

Unwilling recruits of war
God’s smooth hands ravaged

Poetry is my passion. I am not a methodical writer. I have no set topics to write about. What I feel, perceive, think about, I will like to share in this blog. I open my mind to the world. Like the weather, sometimes my poems are cloudy, sometimes stormy. I always like to see sunshine streaming through the leaves of trees, so I hope I can share some of those sunshine with my readers.

  1. Wow! How did I get so far behind on your haiku prompts. There is something here to fit most anybody’s mood – long life, love, sadness, spiritual, earthy, funny, poignant, bittersweet…
Good poetry. Still blaming God for man’s meanness. I, too, wonder why he ever turned earth over to man/woman. But then, I do like freedom to do or not do, to be or not be, to have faith or not to have faith, to choose arrogance against my maker or to submit to his will. Enjoyed some catch up here. Wishing the best for you.

      1. Back on board. You’re a good poet – very descriptive and emotive (I think that is the word I want to use. If it is wrong, don’t get a big head). Too bad you don’t plan to write in Heaven. I’ll be writing and reading when I get there – singing, playing, laughing…..too. 😀

      2. Not interested living in the clouds wearing white dress all the time. Need some color. You are welcome to the sterile life😊.
I literally have a big had. Any bigger, it will explode, 😂, so not looking forward to that.
House remodeling complete, now dealing with infant mortality of equipments (some of which are supposed to be top notch. There goes quality control). Fumigation towards end of the month and then looking forward to a quiet winter.

  2. Get too quiet and I’ll have to send a few darts your way. I’m glad the living conditions are near completion at your home. What have I (or the Bible) ever said that gives you the old man on a fluffy cloud/sterile/ do nothing image of Heaven? You haven’t found that in the Bible. That’s my guide. Heaven is best pictures as the Garden of Eden with sinless people. Is it the lack of sin that doesn’t strike your fancy? You come off to me as a person who is much opposed to sin (evil).
