Beautiful lines, yet so sad and poignant. When a heart suffers that much death must really be soothing. I am not afraid of death as it just means to stop to exist as you are now. Instead, I fear suffering, especially physical pain, not so much psychological. Physical suffering must be horrible especially if it is longlasting. Anyway, a very well written poem.

Thank you so much.
The pain of Physical suffering may or may not affect the heart. As for bearing the intensity of suffering, it certainly depends on the individual.
