What was vibrant and verdant few days back
Today litters the ground, fallen leaves dry
Crunched under feet of those walking by
Is this nature’s way of warning us
Enjoy the ride while you can
In pride lies the seed of destruction
What goes up must come down
Fall from grace, humbled and resurrection
A mere spectator, I try to enjoy as life goes by
Fall is in the air

Poetry is my passion. I am not a methodical writer. I have no set topics to write about. What I feel, perceive, think about, I will like to share in this blog. I open my mind to the world. Like the weather, sometimes my poems are cloudy, sometimes stormy. I always like to see sunshine streaming through the leaves of trees, so I hope I can share some of those sunshine with my readers.

Nice poem, Pranab, thought provoking by sending a powerful message with the double meaning of the word “fall”. 👏

Thank you. It just came to mind walking my dog yesterday morning on the trail.
