History Retold – Son et lumière: RonovanWrites Weekly Haiku Poetry Prompt Challenge # 244 Sound & Motion

This post is in response to Ronovan’s Weekly Haiku Challenge .

Horses galloping
Thunderous cannons booming
Sound and light magic
*****
Applause galore mutes
Mirage of past lights up walls
Ghosts move silently
*****
Forgotten fallen
Unfortunates weep silent
Despots preen again
*****

Poetry is my passion. I am not a methodical writer. I have no set topics to write about. What I feel, perceive, think about, I will like to share in this blog. I open my mind to the world. Like the weather, sometimes my poems are cloudy, sometimes stormy. I always like to see sunshine streaming through the leaves of trees, so I hope I can share some of those sunshine with my readers.

  1. Beautifully penned. It feels like standing in front of a picture in an art gallery and recognising all the elements of your set of haikus (horses, cannons, etc.), or watching a movie with all these elements.
