When your red cheeks shamed the setting sun
And filled me with desire as I called your name
As I drank from the overflowing cup of your love
Never for a moment thought of the day far, far off
When the setting sun would still set the sky on fire
Colors would not paint your cheeks red as you grow older
But the glow in your heart would still fill me with desire
And the beauty of your heart, my darling, would keep me inspired

Poetry is my passion. I am not a methodical writer. I have no set topics to write about. What I feel, perceive, think about, I will like to share in this blog. I open my mind to the world. Like the weather, sometimes my poems are cloudy, sometimes stormy. I always like to see sunshine streaming through the leaves of trees, so I hope I can share some of those sunshine with my readers.

One week of April has passed. Hopefully I can continue with the theme for three weeks more.

Thank you.
Spent couple of hours in the morning photographing wild flowers on the small hill (One Tree Hill) near my house and trying to identify them. It was beautiful outside.
