When they look away
From the lies
And condone it
Because the liar
Serves their purpose
Truth sheds a solitary tear
And the Crocodiles smile
Somewhere the forgotten call
For a thousand year reich
Raises its ugly head
As goose stepping lemmings
Joyous in a macabre dance
Hail the false messaiah
Bell tolls for the masses
As correctness misguided
Rules the day
God, forlorn, irrelevant, ponders
If ends justify the means

Poetry is my passion. I am not a methodical writer. I have no set topics to write about. What I feel, perceive, think about, I will like to share in this blog. I open my mind to the world. Like the weather, sometimes my poems are cloudy, sometimes stormy. I always like to see sunshine streaming through the leaves of trees, so I hope I can share some of those sunshine with my readers.

Wow – fabulous writing – but truth is nothing but a version

Thank you
Truth morphed may be a version, but real truth?

Always truth is what we want to believe is true 🌸😊

In that sense God is true only for believers, for an atheist God is non-existent. So is God true or not?

In my opinion, Again a perspective of minds. For some true for some it is not.

Till now I have learnt only one absolute truth, once born, onen has to die one day. All other is relative.

It’s in Mahabharat – Vana Parba – answer by Yudhisthir to yaksha’s ( Yama in disguise) question “what is the most astonishing”.

Wow. Thanks for the citation

If you read Mahabharat not from a religious view point, you will be surprised at the trove of knowledge you can get from it.

This could be political commentary, or social, or religious… powerful, it is, either ways! Good one, Pranab!

We all search for truth eventually and it is always found in the wisdom of the ancients. We forget that civilizations before us existed and sent their signs through time.

Thank you so much.
We have become immune to lies and liars.

You put into words the way I’ve been feeling lately… I watch the Dem debates and worry that we’re going to do the same thing we did in 2016 and the Trump Reich will continue unabated. You cannot appeal to the morality of people driven by money, the green scourge that slowly poisons everything–air, water, soil, food, humanity. I want to have hope, I really do, but if people won’t WAKE UP, we don’t have a prayer. 🙂

Thanks Joan.
One can never give up hope, even at the darkest of time.
Posted a poem today about hope. It’s a coincidence that your comment came in just as I posted my new poem.
