Fell for the cover
Ignoring the perils
That may hide inside
Aware that beauty skin deep
Once withered
May reveal a hideous heart
Or a seed of hope nurtured
Waits
Uncertainties perilous , or
Exhilaration unbound

Poetry is my passion. I am not a methodical writer. I have no set topics to write about. What I feel, perceive, think about, I will like to share in this blog. I open my mind to the world. Like the weather, sometimes my poems are cloudy, sometimes stormy. I always like to see sunshine streaming through the leaves of trees, so I hope I can share some of those sunshine with my readers.

A fantastic rendition of “you can’t judge a book by its cover.” 😀

Not even Playboy? Oh, it’s a magazine 😊
Thanks Oneta. That rose is from our garden. Lots of work to be done in the garden. Completely destroyed during house remodeling.

I did not know you were a rose grower. This one is beautiful. Did you take the picture also? If you can grow a rose like this, your garden will recover after a while. Yes, I do judge Playboy by its cover. Just the name is enough.

We had few rose bushes but this year we could not take good care. One old plant died. It was heart breaking. But today morning saw three buds on another purple bush that we thought had died. We trimmed the bush near to the ground and nurtured it back to health.

Ah, I love chocolate even the dark kind. Can savor the taste as it softly melts as my midriff groans😂
