For a moment

three line tales week 136: camping

This post is for Sonya’s Three Line Tales, Week 136

For a moment nothing else mattered, alone, the world stood still,
Gentle breeze caressed her face, soothing, setting sun lighted up the hill,
Come what may she will face the world, becalmed, she swore to climb uphill.

Silent Tears Flow

Old expatriate

Far away from home,  alone

Every morning,  fear

Separation wide

Technology builds bridges

News flow instantly

Every dawn new fear

Instant message, news of loss

Dead,  lost someone dear

Mind flies away fast

Limp body outwardly calm, lies

Heart weeps silently

Memories disturb

Silent tears flow unseen

Loneliness company

WALK

Walk the path you chose
All alone if you must
Life is yours to live
Keep it under control

Walk for your health
As best as you can
Let not life’s worries
Kill all the fun

Walk the path less travelled
At Least make a try
Lead life as happy as can be
Kind and gentle be you

Walk with your family
And with your friends
Lots of goodwill and love
Keep you happy and hale
