Eternity Waits -a set of haiku

You gave me your hand

roses bloomed in the desert

and I lost my mind

*****

River runs to sea

confluence waits eagerly

oblivion waits

*****

Tumultuous sea

dark sky embraces the waves

horizon waits dawn

*****

As gentle waves crash

hot sands wait the cooling touch

thirst unquenchable

*****

Eternity waits

roses fragrance desert nights

time has no meaning

River of Life

This river of life
From the very start
Keeps flowing. flowing
As time flies

Be a skipper of the boat
Or a passenger
As the river flows
No time to stop

Can’t be a spectator
River of life won’t stop
Will detour, take passengers
And drop them off

This river of life
Mad dash to confluences
Unseen and lost forever
As new dawn greets

Snow or rain
Flood or drought
This river of life runs
Full and sometimes dry

Every turn unknown
Every bend new
What a story to tell
Till someone rings your bell

So jump on,have no choice
Enjoy the ride while you can
River of life will keep flowing
Won’t stop for any man
