Fall is in the air

Crinkled, crumpled brown leaves
Trodden under heavy feet Continue reading “Fall is in the Air”

The Road to Happiness
Why despair
The road to happiness
Passes through the valley of sorrow
Once you are down
Only way to go is up
On this temporal journey
Of perpetual impermanence
Setbacks are just small road bumps
Accept, do not resign
Regroup, do not retreat
And when you reach the peak
Clutch the sunlight
Fill your heart with joy
To last a few lifetime
Those Who Are Gone
Talk with those
Who traversed this path before
Never get a response
Nor a sign if
They are happy or sad
Am the sight of those
Who I do not know
If they see any more
Am the voice of those
Who I do not know if
They talk any more
Carry on their work
Falter and despair
But in my heart I hear
Reassuring words
Been there, done that
May not have always
Been perfect
But did our best
And we know
You will do your best
As long as intents are good and clear
Will leave this world a better place
For those who come after
Talk with those
Who are gone, but
Never forgotten
Wind of Change
Wind of change blowing
In change life flowing
Nature on the move
Don’t fear what’s new
Why to be afraid
Inquisitive mind is brave
Now is the time
Do embrace new challenge
Wind of change blowing
Intense, dark and brooding
Now is the time
Destroy all fear,rise
When no one comes
In yourself have faith
Never despair, be strong
Destruction precedes all construction
