World:Week Thirty Four of My Fifty Two Weeks Journey with the Letter ” W”

Last week was a very hectic week for us. My son and daughter started college. There move in days were different, so we had to go on two different days to drop them.  Monday early morning my eldest son left for his college ( he is a graduate student ) and suddenly we found ourselves as members of empty nesters’ club. Tomorrow morning my better half is going on vacation for a month, so I will be alone for a month with my dog Skooby for the next one month.  That will surely be a new experience after a long long time.

With so much going on, I did not have any time to think about what I was going to write for my Wednesday post.  I was going to come home a bit early to help with the last minute packing but somebody up there must have other thoughts.  Traffic was horrible, as if everybody had decided to go home early from work.  As I was sitting there for the traffic to move, got a frantic call that Skooby had an accident.  After I was able to calm her down, I was able to gather that the accident was not physical but he pooped on the living room carpet.  I breathed a sigh of relief but spent nearly an hour and half cleaning and deodorizing the carpet after a hour long drive to reach home.

As you may have gathered by now, my plan of writing a post for this Wednesday  was derailed by the time I was free to sit in front of my computer to even think of writing.  I can only think “What has this world come to” and voila! the word for week thirty four of my fifty two weeks journey with the letter “W” literally fell on my lap.  Now to finish my writing and poem before the clock strikes twelve.  World, here I come.

My Learning Style (The Daily Post) – Day 11-Blogging101

Learning can be fun, learning style varies.

I have a learning style, I never knew why.
Now I have to do an assignment, makes me cry.
Always thought it is fun to learn,
Or was it always learn to earn?
Now that I have to start my assignment in writing,
Need to go back to my earliest beginning. Continue reading “My Learning Style (The Daily Post) – Day 11-Blogging101”
