Just a moment

Just wait a moment, you said

And been waiting ever since

When be that moment auspicious 

I say what’s in my heart

Those bitten by the love bug

Waiting, a punishment hard

As one mouths the words

Life just stalls, moments fly

A sign, a ray of hope

Is all that matters

Burden of Silence

Sad is the heart that bears the burden of silence

Weighed down by punishment of compromise

Neither capable of bleeding nor weeping

Calcified by years of torment, it waits

Passion has met its match and surrendered

Love entombed and buried deep under

It does not ache or yearn any more

Heart turned to stone does not feel

Waits for soothing touch of death to heal.

Lie, cheat, commit sin
As long you serve our purpose
Get a mulligan

We worship same god
Speak different languages
Different, we fight

We speak same language
But worship different god
Different, we fight

Worship same, speak same
Different color of skin
Different, we fight

What is different
Language, color, religion
Same blood flows in vein
