Clouds of the internet

The clouds of internet are changing,
No longer they may remain free,
gods of Google searching for ways of monetizing,
And soon others will follow through.

Isn’t that the way of life,
The haves will hog the resources,
And the havenots slowly wither.

Everything essential that nature provides free,
Soon our greed will touch and pollute,
The rich will pay to breathe and drink,
Will there be a world for the meeks to inherit?

So-Called

When someone disagrees
Call them so-called
Those spineless
Spewing righteousness
Will keep silent
Roaring like circus clowns
If the table is reversed
And the one
Who has lost
The majority votes
Is called so-called
By others
Seen through their
Transparent skins
In order to make rich richer
And steal from the poor
Those so-called supporters
Of pro-life
Who won’t flinch
To close the door
On services to the living
It’s OK when so-called
Advice and consent was stalled
Use the nuclear option
If the so-called opposition filibuster
What a irony that we forget
What’s good for the goose
Is good for the gander

Public Servants The Politicians

My Saturday morning poem:

Public Servants The Politicians

Such fools are we
Treat our servants
Like kings
Paying them better
Than their masters
Allowing them to
Make rules for us
Abdicated our responsibility
To keep our
Servants in line
Punished duly
While they become rich
We stand in line
On the road to
Hopelessness
Public servants
Politicians are they
Most lucrative carrier
Leaders of the masses
Those poor multitude
Who forgot
They are the bosses

Most Wonderful Time?

It’s the most wonderful time of the year
Then why do we have so much fear
It’s the time to be joyous and happy
Then why are we so afraid and weary
Santa bringing presents to the rich
Poor are conned and rightly ditched
It’s a lesson that we never learnt
Don’t take care of ourselves, we get burnt
It happens over and over again
Our short term memory goes down the drain
Soon will be happy with what trickles down
Till beaten and ragged will be driven out of town
It’s not our destiny that we suffer thus
Don’t take responsibility, will be thrown under the bus
Everybody enjoy and have a holly jolly Christmas
Come New Year get ready to change the dark canvas

Warning

Warning clouds rumble on the horizon
Anxious citizens play wait and see game
Rich are getting ready to get richer
Never in doubt about the outcome
Insecure dreamers dread doubtful future
Not knowing what will happen with their lives
Greed is getting ready to trump good for ever

Warning to all of us who chose to ignore
Are we now ready to pay the price
Risk of a nation divided by ugly vitriolics
Novelty of change will wear out soon
Immigrants are bad unless wives of POTUS elect
Narcissist nabob will make the people dance
Great hyperbole will trump common sense

Warning message to those who did not care
All’s not lost yet if you dare to oppose
Russian puppet shows ruining your life
Now is the time to come together
Insure that you won’t be rolled over
Need to be vigilant to preserve hard won rights
Get ready to trump their evil designs

Write Anything Wednesday

Let me go in peace

Grant me the wish
To go in peace
To go in one piece
Not fragmented by
The hatred of
The mercenaries
Neither do I wish
To grow old such
That all pains are mine
And the doctors rich
Let me be in peace
If these old organs
No benefit to the living
Through me in the ocean
In death may
I be useful
If not to humans
Atleast to someone
Who will enjoy my taste

Want and Need

Want the whole world but do we really need the mess
What to do with more if we can be happy with less
Want to be at peace or do we need to be rich
Want to be learned but do we need to preach
Want may be less but do we need more
Want to be social but do we need to be a bore
We want more to satisfy our needs, or
Want to ensure to keep up with the Joneses
World may look down on those whose wants are less
While the majority work hard to meet their basic needs
Why is this raging conflict between want and need
When peace in the world is all we want indeed
