Fall is in the air

What was vibrant and verdant few days back

Today litters the ground, fallen leaves dry

Crunched under feet of those walking by

Is this nature’s way of warning us

Enjoy the ride while you can

In pride lies the seed of destruction

What goes up must come down

Fall from grace, humbled and resurrection

A mere spectator, I try to enjoy as life goes by

Fall is in the air

This river of life
From the very start

As time flies

Be a skipper of the boat
Or a passenger
As the river flows

Can’t be a spectator

And drop them off

This river of life
Mad dash to confluences
Unseen and lost forever
As new dawn greets

Snow or rain
Flood or drought
This river of life runs
Full and sometimes dry

Every turn unknown
Every bend new
What a story to tell
Till someone rings your bell

So jump on,have no choice
Enjoy the ride while you can
