Rebel am not, no barriers broken
Violence shunned, no harsh words spoken
Mind my business, just want my space
Stand up for rights, will defend my face
Meeks will inherit, but they are all tokens
If they are sheeps, they will all be broken
Majority rules, but vocal minority is shrill
If not speak up, you know the drill
Might is right, but that idea is not bright
Be recognized, stand up for your rights
Not to be destructive, ideas need be constructive
May not be a leader, but need be very persuasive
Blind follower am not, not want be herded
Guard precious freedoms, resist being railroaded
Resist is the operative word. It’s not what we’re willing to kill for, it’s what we’re willing to die for that makes the difference. Easy to say hard to do. I like this poem very much.

Thanks you. I am for non violence, but distaste being herded like sheep.

Non-violence in an increasingly violent culture isn’t and easy rope to walk. Especially, when most of the dead bodies are used as political footballs to confuse and manipulate the people.

I agree it is hard but an eye for an eye will make us lose our humanity completely. Universal education, real education, is a must. God has given us a brain for a reason.

Yes, the world is already very blind. Truth illiteracy is rampant and many prefer their ignorance to the challenge of enlightenment. Death is never a solution to anything and I think in times like these the best choice is to stand. Even though we don’t choose violence, we should be prepared to defend life.
