But have I seen you?
Never seen you,
Never talked to you,
Never heard you speak,
Do not know how
Do you look.
But I do know you
Through your words,
Then am I correct
To say
Glad we met?
What a confusing
World is this internet!
Shall I say
Glad we net?
But I am not fishing.
Or am I?
To net
As many likes,
And many more comments?
But I don’t fish
With a net,
I buy fish
From fish market.
So am I
Spreading my net
In blogosphere market
To catch the biggest, or
Garner maximum hits?
Why is blogging
So confusing?
Leaves me scratching
My head.
Glad we met, or
Glad we net?

I love this!! I’m so glad we net 😀 Do not worry, I’m not fishing :’) Still amazed I am able to read poems, I used to panic at the sight of them when I started reading blogs here :’)

I was thinking aloud if I was fishing. The poem came about when I was commenting to one of my new “friend” that Glad to meet you. Made me think, I have not met my new friend, only seen the postings.
Regarding reading poems, just a couple of days back I commented to one of the authors I follow that I would need a PhD in English to understand some of his writings:). I love his play with words, so I regularly follow him.

I wonder how different it would be to meet our fellow bloggers in person… I am definitely more outgoing with words typed than words spoken! That’s why I wouldn’t read the poems initially, because my brain would shut off :’)
