She came into my life like a spring sunbeam
It must have been a midsummer’s night dream
Autumn of my life I was darn right foolish
Oh how she made me endure all her fetish
Left me cold in winter like a frozen ice cream

Poetry is my passion. I am not a methodical writer. I have no set topics to write about. What I feel, perceive, think about, I will like to share in this blog. I open my mind to the world. Like the weather, sometimes my poems are cloudy, sometimes stormy. I always like to see sunshine streaming through the leaves of trees, so I hope I can share some of those sunshine with my readers.

And with each new season is growth….thank goodness there’s wisdom to be won in heartbreak, huh?!? Creative limerick!

Thanks for the kind words and thanks for the visit.
I didn’t have that angle exactly in mind, though I tried to change the last line to capture that. I gave up as it becomes a long sentence.

My pleasure. It is so difficult to simplify and yet also for so much in with so few words! You did a fine job. 💜
